The first trolley tours Saturday of 12 new murals in Gulfton were packed with people coming to see new street art that highlights the diversity and spirit of the neighborhood that houses many of Houston’s immigrants and refugees.

“The Gulfton Story Trail” launched in southwest Houston featuring murals done by immigrants or children of immigrant artists in a neighborhood that was considered an “underserved arts community.”
